About
I grew up loving punk and rock, surrounded by people with strong opinions about what was and wasn't cool. For a long time, I let those opinions shape what I let myself enjoy — in music, in film, in pretty much everything.
That changed when I started saying yes to things I'd been quietly curious about. K-Pop was one of them. I started pulling the string on BTS and couldn't stop. Their origin story, their personalities, the meaning woven into their music — I fell for all of it. And with that came the thing I always do when I love something: I wanted to wear it.
The problem was, my style is pretty understated. I wanted something subtle — something a fellow ARMY would clock immediately, but that wouldn't scream merch to anyone else. I couldn't find it. So I made it.
The first product that sparked Borahae Collective was the Bangtan Money Coin Pouch. It came out of a conversation with my husband about how excited I was for their return after military service — and how, knowing how long everyone had been waiting, tour tickets were going to be expensive. We joked we should start saving now. The coin pouch was born.
That's still the heart of this shop: merch that feels personal, intentional, and made by someone who gets it. Every design starts from a real feeling, a real moment, a real conversation in the fandom.
Made with care
Every order comes with a handwritten note. You're supporting a one-person shop, and that means something to me.
Subtle by design
The designs are made to be worn — understated enough for everyday, meaningful enough for ARMY to recognize.
Community first
Borahae Collective exists because of this fandom. Every purchase goes back into making more things we'd actually want to wear.
